Double Barrel consists of two Brig Ellis Sagas. Ellis is a contemporary private investigator based in San Diego, California. In The Black Pagoda, Ellis searches for a missing friend in Bangkok, Thailand. The search morphs into a race against time to thwart a criminal cabal’s fiendish plan of international assassinations. In Asphalt Sonata, Ellis provides security for a famous writer’s book tour from Chicago to Santa Monica along the legendary Route 66 highway. The tour, however, is stalked by a serial killer.
