Lane Cohen attended the University of Cincinnati, studied musical theatre, and has appeared in the musicals: West Side Story, Bye-Bye Birdie, Funny Girl, Footloose, Jekyll & Hyde, and many more. He’s published numerous short stories, his most recent Best’s Laid Plans about The Beatles’ original drummer, Pete Best, who travels back in time to prevent being replaced by Ringo Star. Lane's favorite authors are Robert B. Parker, Carl Hiaasen, and Stephen King. One of his favorite rules of writing: “Write drunk. Edit sober.” - Ernest Hemingway. His most recent novel is Protection, a horror story set in Protection, Kansas, published by TWB Press in 2014. Lane is a lawyer and lives in Parker, Colorado, with his wife, Barbara, his horses BLT and Dallas, his dog Ollie, and Cady, his fascinating barn cat, aka The Butcher of Lisbon.
