Judith Paolercio was in the fifth grade when she received her first writing award. She can still remember the excitement when they handed her the prize: a dark-green Parker pen. She continued to write but also found another passion equal to that. Ballet.
She studied dance, though not professionally, and was taught by former professional dancers. Many years later, that experience became the inspiration for her dance trilogy: Pas De Deux, Curtain Call, and Final Bow.
Various sources, both fictional as well as personal, provided avenues to explore for new novels. “When It Comes to Love” has a perfect combination of both, making for a novel that has garnered the attention of MAK Entertainment, who secured the film rights, and it now has working script in place.
She currently lives in upstate New York, Dutchess County, in the small hamlet of New Hamburg, on the Hudson River. She and her husband raised two children who are now grown with families of their own. She works in New York City for a prominent law firm.
