Author Jeffrey T. Heyer

Jeffrey T. Heyer has made his living as actor and director for 40 years, with 88 entertainment employers. He has had scripts produced at the GroveMont Theatre (Monterey), Actors Collective (Monterey County), B3 Theater (Phoenix, AZ) and elsewhere. His theatrical career began when he played Dracula. Feeling asthma suck the life out of him, leaving Jeff more dead than alive made him empathize with vampire victims. The consequent limited ability to defend himself against violent aggressors made him empathize with those who, ruined by a vampire, lose their higher selves and descend into the shadow. Much of his fiction has followed suit.
